Pros
The interview process was quick due to the need for holiday help.
Cons
Orientation was rushed and only consisted of 4 hours each day, rather than the normal 8. Also, most of the time was spent completing computer lessons and tests. You have to finish and pass them all before being allowed to be "trained." I use that term loosely. My training consisted of standing behind another cashier for 30 minutes. After that, I was thrown on a register. During the holiday rush, that's never a good thing. I had to deal with angry customers all day. Also, there were very few registers open at a time, so I was very overwhelmed. I had never been a cashier before this job. Lastly, I could never get a set schedule for the week. I had to go to a manager after EVERY single shift to get my schedule for the next day. They would just make up hours off the top of their head. It was a nightmare. I quit after 3 weeks. Oh and I ran into one of the ladies I went through orientation with. She also quit around the same time for the exact same reasons.
