Pros

Challenging work environment Continually changing work environment Good salary

Cons

Regional Mgrs. many times do not promote on merit, but instead of who they like the most. We should have been way past this point as a company by now! Too many major changes over the last few years, one on top of another that did not allow associates to gain an understanding or expertise in it before the next change was implemented. Dealing with so many unprofessional people. Too many senior level managers who don't have any old time/long term Walmart culture.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
