Pros

As a first job, it paid better than I expected. Good amount of break time, 15 minutes for every 3-4 hours and if you work more than 6 hours then you got an hour for a meal as well.

Cons

Stressful Walmart lets anybody in, so sometime the customers behave/dress unconventionally As a seasonal employee, I was given very little training before working on my own and felt unprepared when starting. You only receive an employee discount after working there for 3 months and its only 20% off certain products.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
