Pros

Employees are paid weekly and Sundays are a guaranteed day off. There are a few wonderful individuals I met during my time there.

Cons

Walser has a very clique-based atmosphere. It can be quite toxic. So many hard-working individuals were so under-valued. It is clear that sales mean far more than any employee ever can. Nepotism is rampant. I would often see promotions or raises for family members of upper management when it was clear it was not earned or deserved.

Walser Response

Dear former Walser employee - We appreciate the time you worked here, and we're sorry to hear that you do not recommend us. While we do, in some situations, hire family members of employees, there are many measures in place to make sure that they don't report to each other or affect pay or title.

My experience at Walser exceeded my expectations! I learned so much and felt cared for as an employee and person. There is room to grow at Walser and encouragement to find what your'e good at to meet what you love!

Cons

No cons come to mind.

Pros

Good training, base salary, benefits like health insurance, 401k. Good pay plan for high volume dealerships.

Cons

Pay plan is entirely based on volume, and some rooftops are doing in a day what others do in a week. Do your research as to where you go because you can't switch to another dealership until you have tenure. The volume at Toyota is insane. Meanwhile I'm next door at the Buick GMC dealership and our volume is terrible, and I can't switch for months. I'm likely going to have to quit.
