Pros

I've been working at Walser for 2 1/2 years now and it's been the best proffessional experience i have had to date. Management truly cares and Walser does a lot of things to keep employees engaged and to show appreciation! The corporate team makes a big effort to make it out to the stores and be responsive and support our stores! Some of the standouts for me are: - Turkey drop: Every employee gets a free turkey for thanksgiving - Family day: Every MN employee and their family gets to go to valleyfair with the company in the fall! - ERG Employee engagement events

Cons

One con for some can be the fast paced and chaotic nature of automotive. We don't do everything perfect and we do implement a lot of changes that requires work on the backend to accomplish. In my mind i'm fine with it, but it can be a work environment that requires getting used to!

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience! We’re happy to hear that your time at Walser has been such a positive and rewarding part of your professional journey. We could not do this work without you. It means a lot to know that our efforts to prioritize culture, employee engagement, and career growth have made a lasting impact on you. We truly value your recognition of the initiatives we’ve put in place—from Turkey Drop to Family Day to our ERG engagement events. These are just a few of the many ways we strive to create a workplace that’s not only high-performing, but also connected, inclusive, and people-focused. We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback around communication during change. It’s a great reminder for us as we continue to grow and evolve. Change is difficult and we learn from it every day. Clear, consistent communication is key, and we’re committed to continuously improving in that area. Thank you again for your contributions, dedication, and insight—we’re so glad to have you as part of the Walser family! Lindsey Trett Walser's Director of Talent Acquisition

Pros

Good training, base salary, benefits like health insurance, 401k. Good pay plan for high volume dealerships.

Cons

Pay plan is entirely based on volume, and some rooftops are doing in a day what others do in a week. Do your research as to where you go because you can't switch to another dealership until you have tenure. The volume at Toyota is insane. Meanwhile I'm next door at the Buick GMC dealership and our volume is terrible, and I can't switch for months. I'm likely going to have to quit.
