Business Outlook
Pros
WDIG had an intelligent and laid back workforce. It was easy to find peers that knew more than you but did not compete for accolades and attention. Very few managers were clock-watchers and allowed flexible work schedules. Given the above, one must take special care of one's career else it may remain sedentary, sitting on the shelf, gathering dust.
Cons
When compared to one another, supervisors were uneven -- for example, annual reviews from one may be intense while another may skip the process entirely. Perhaps related: there seemed to be a revolving door for managers. During my tenure, I had three managers within 9 months. Salaries were not normalized, making for some unusual gaps and questionable promotions.
