Pros

It's the best place to learn how today's media/entertainment corporations really work from a stable industry leader that has mastered the art of synergy and strategic development of intellectual property for emerging media. Disney also develops emerging media platforms, brings bleeding edge technology to our movies, web presence and theme park guests.

Cons

Navigating the corporate landscape isn't for everyone. Knowledge of the politics of entertainment is key. It's not daunting or unmanageable but long term employees practice a high degree of workplace savvy in order to have the career paths they are passionate about.

Pros

Amazing working life balance, company perks (including park access), benefits, great people to work with, company history, etc. PTOs are very flexible. And sometimes you get to enjoy new attractions first hand, before they are open to the public. Also teams get together in the parks occasionally. If you're working on site, they have great offices. I really enjoyed my time there.

Cons

It's huge corporate ecosystem, resulting in many layers of interactions and approvals for even simple things. If you're not a fan of complexes corporate environments, then maybe this ins't the right place for you. The salary are not very competitive, compared to the big techs, if you're working on site in Florida or remote. The salaries are better in CA if you're working on site to compensate the high cost of living in CA.
