Pros

Pay was good. People on a different floor than you were really nice. There were two HRs, the one that did the hiring was one of the nicest person there. 1 hour lunch breaks and get to do what you want.

Cons

Where to start! The is a new company that was created under Obamacare. This is also a very small company, with a staff of about 100 + employees. There is also a very high turnover rate. They are barely hiring because that can't afford new employees and their high turnover rate is increasing. Company's that are not even ten years old usually have problems to begin with. There's no structure and organization. Since this a a small company, there's alot of gossip. Be careful who you talk to. There is alot of smiling faces, however, most people seem miserable and have been looking for new jobs. Management is terrible. Some of the employee there come from state jobs and have a very "egotistical mentality" and are "big talkers". Some of the managers are stuck up and look down at bottom staff, they barely acknowledge you if you smile and say good morning. Some people on your floor that do not work in the same department as you are told to spy on other colleagues by the managers, the same goes for your co-workers. The company purposely have low cubicles, I was told because they want to encourage interaction, it was more like they want to monitor their staff, there is no privacy for employees in this company unless if you are a manager with your own office. The training is also terrble. With constant changes every week and system failures every week, some people are being in their work. Some managers are not fit to be in the position they are in. One manager I knew, relied on their lead for everything, including their own work. No one came to this managers office to ask him/her questions because they never knew the answer. Also if you made mistake, manager blames you and not themselves for not trying to engage in proper training. When a manager tells you that they do not know the work or know how to do the work of the staff they hired, that's not good, it's embrassing! How are you a manager and not knowledgeable on the jobs of your staff you hired. When a manager tells you that " they get into less trouble than you," run away, this manager, let alone person if not a good individual and had bad intentions and is only looking out for themselves and not their staff. Some managers belittle your intelligence and take things personal if they know that you plan on leaving or are aspiring to advance your career or continue your education. There is and was alot of hostility, animosity, insecurities, & jealousy in this company, be careful who you mingle with and talk too. Another manager I knew, didn't know what they were doing, they constantly talk bad about their boss who is the director and talked negatively about her staff to their co-workers. When this manager knew they made misleading instructors to their staff, they never owned up to it, instead they "big-talkers" their way out of the situation and it resulted in issues for the staff's work. This manager also went against their boss's instructions aswell. This manager also was more Leni to their staff, by encouraging lunches, activities, & etc than other manager sin department, because they knew they caused alot of the mistakes in their department which resulted in more stress and work for his/her staff, so they tried to befriend their staff. The benefits are not great because of budget constraint. The reason why some people are working her is because of the pay, since with is higher than some state jobs. And did i mention, that there is alot of animosity, hostility, jealousy, and insecurities in this company. If you are aspiring for career advancement or continuing your education, be careful, some people here will try to set up for failure or make you look stupid to make themselves feel better. This company does not have core values or moral. It's all about getting in where you fit in and brown-nosing and "big-talking" your way to survive and to get to the top.

Pros

It’s a great organization that cares about the people they serve.

Cons

There are a lot of big ideas that come in and are executed quickly without shoring up the bugs that exist from prior implementations.
