Pros

I'm a temp to hire employee and have been working for Watts for 2 weeks. Management is super relaxed, polite and very understanding about family emergencies and bad weather. Even when we are crazy busy, everyone is calm. Even the employees are great. People act like adults.

Cons

The majority of woman are Hispanic (not that is really an issue) but there is a lot of language barriers. They also only speak Spanish when they aren't talking to me so I am very isolated from them. I spend my breaks with the guys.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
