Pros

I have been at Watts for over 20 years, and have been through a number of changes, but I am pleased to see our current global leadership team is one of the best in terms of communications and strategy. To anyone looking for the ability to advance their career within a company, Watts offers you that visibility and opportunity.

Cons

A universal disadvantage to being a publicly traded company is that they are subject to the whims of the market.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
