Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We are so glad to hear that you were happy at Watts! You couldn't be more right when you say leadership cares about their employees and sustainability. We agree! We have implemented a number of measures to develop the leadership capability of our talent. A few of these initiatives include volume based coaching opportunities, conducting supervisor trainings, communication and collaboration skills trainings and new manager workshops. Additionally, we have started quarterly reviews of our talent at the manager and above levels with the leadership team of each Business/Function, to ensure that the development of our high-performing, high-potential colleagues is further supported.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
