Pros

Hybrid work schedule, good co-workers. Average work life balance Stable industry and company is dominant in the industry which provides excellent job security.

Cons

Poor benefits, employees are absorbing the majority of the cost for health benefits and for a company that is in the top 5 of the industry it appears you do not care about employees health and mental wellness. 401K is below average. PTO is also outdated in comparison to companies in the same space, the ability to not carry over anything forces people to take unnecessary time off. Hiring practices are also outdated, please update to current applications process. Salaries are not competitive for similar job titles, level of responsibility and demands of the position. Lack of growth opportunities.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
