Pros

The people other than management at Watts Digital are kind and talented.

Cons

Product leadership is run by a micromananger who has little understanding of the design function. This lack of understanding makes it a horrible environment to work in. • Work load is not based in reality. When you don't understand the job being done, you can't understand how long it takes to complete various tasks? Completion dates are created without discussion if they're even possible. Complete disrespect for the team who is doing the actual work. • Product Designers stay away. • Leadership has no ability to take and act on feedback about their own performance. A one ways street attitude. • Expected to work long hours or your labeled a problem. • Serious mistakes made on strategy and execution of new product. • Too many meetings. A high volume of work is expected but impossible when you have a never ending pile meetings to discuss a new project that will begin in 2026.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
