Pros
Fantastic maternity leave and benifits
Cons
If you want to come in and do only your job and nothing more, Wayfair is fantastic. However, if you’re trying to move up, or innovate to make your job better, look somewhere else. Wayfair operates on broken systems and work arounds. Any attempt on trying to better the efficiency of your work life is pushed off. They preach bringing ideas to the table, that they are innovative and full of opportunities… That’s an absolute joke. Wayfair would rather work with its broken system, than listen to anyone who deals with it on a day to day basis on how to better it. They act excited about ideas, then shove it in a filing cabinet for it never to be thought of again. Management is completely complacent and doesn’t put in any hard work to change anything. Moving up is a popularity contest and has nothing to do with your qualifications. Hence why nothing actually is ever accomplished or changed. There is absolutely no communication, not one department is on the same page as the other, and there is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL!! But that’s all okay because nobody in management has to deal with the repercussions of these issues.. just let your lower level employees deal with it and when they get frustrated and leave- there is always another body to get into warehouse. Complacent, lazy, and non authoritative is the theme of management- from the warehouse floor all the way to the site leaders. So as long as you’re okay with dealing with the downfalls that having practically no ACTUAL management brings…Wayfair’s great!
