Pros
I worked at Wayfair for six years and worked with some of the best people, many of whom I am still friends with today. I believe I received fair compensation for my work and learned and grew A LOT in my time there.
Cons
Things were getting chaotic around 2020. There was a lay-off and reorg at the start of 2020, followed by a boom in business (as everyone was shopping online during the pandemic) and a lack of staff. Since then there has been a lot more reorganization, constantly shifting company priorities, not enough resources, and terrible communication from upper management. It felt like being whipped around constantly. You always needed to be stressing to finish something that may not be relevant at all in a month. I'm not sure if Wayfair is falling apart organizationally, or maybe was just in an awkward growing phase as a company when I left. For all I know it could straighten itself out in a couple years, but it wasn't super fun to work at when I left.
