Internal sharing of design docs, fleet data, code, slides help you stay aware of the latest in how they use ML, data science, raw sensor data, vehicle dynamics for all-weather autonomy. Retains many of the good things from Google's culture with some tweaks from consumer-hardware and modern-automotive cultures.
Cons
Business outlook uncertainty and slowing headcount growth. So far so good for Waymo, but competitors are having a hard time attracting capital, which could be a bearish sign for the pace at which robotaxi fleets expand.
