Pros
-Absolutely great people to work with-Great to build network with the members in the building you work in-Work/life balance is great, not expected to work after-hours -Gorgeous workspaces-Management used to have amazing employee perks like Summer Camp, Boat Parties, Summit but are pinching pennies so there's no perks or "team lunch" anymore--- not extremely important, but very little flexibility with spending
Cons
-Buildings are extremely short staffed, very overwhelming if you are in a building with a lot of members -Leadership pushes new projects out too fast without thinking of the processes leading a messy implementation -Hires externally, difficult to get promoted to higher roles -Must be OK with doing mail sorting since that's the primary job of the Community Associate. Over 50% of your day will be leaving your laptop with many tasks to give members the mail. -Stocks in the company are worth nothing -No HR action when members harass employees -Very rarely ban members, even though they steal, do not pay, harass other people, WeWork employees. Members always have the upper hand to do whatever they want if they have an office -Very minimal security, some cities do not have any security people and you need to reach out to someone in a market many miles away to take remote action. This is a huge issue for buildings that have entrances on busy streets, especially if something dangerous happens such as the location at Times Square
