Pros
If they can return to their culture, they could be great again. The idea of “people not employees” was great, they really had the conviction that people with lives and ideas and goals and dreams, struggles and difficulties, kept their wheel running.
Cons
The introduction of their new CPO, ironically “People Not Employees” went out the window. While easily blamed on COVID-19, 60 employees were trimmed from the company “fat”. This was after the CPO made assurances company-wide that things were fine! But real colors were shown in leadership meetings when she questioned middle-management why struggling (and improving) reps were not fired yet. We had just switched to a new work-from-home environment and the “people” they claim to focus on, with families and struggles especially now, were adjusting to that new environment and subsequently let go. As the company grows, employees are pushed and “people” are pushed out.
