Cons
Product/Priority thrashing - It seems leadership has had a tough time focusing on objectives recently. New objectives get pushed down often (sometimes weekly), which causes stressful pivoting. This leads to throwaway work, orphaned/unfinished projects, and a large accumulation of tech debt, which will negatively affect the ability to meet business objectives in the long-term. Performance Evaluations - developers are assigned a "baseball card" rating and given an A, B or C grade. Way too many meetings - a department-wide no-meeting day would be very nice Degrading work/life balance - depending on the team you're on, you'll be subject to on-call schedules and sometimes required to work before/after hours to meet deadlines.
