Management does not listen. They don't care. They pretend to listen but nothing ever changes. Teams get everything thrown onto their shoulders with no appreciation. There are about 2 Directors, VPs, or Managers to every actual engineer - and all of them think they are your boss. Moral tanked HARD in the last year - so many people quit, the culture there was has dissolved into chaos and priority scrambles. The pay is low, and people who raise concerns are dismissed. No middle managers have any power, even if they try to shield the team from the bureaucratic waterfall, they just get swept away and end up fired or quitting.
Enjoy working at night if you take an engineering job here. The only reason any semblance of work life balance exists at WebPT is because your coworkers nearly work themselves ragged allowing you to take some time off. There used to be work life balance, but WebPT cant seem to staff teams, even when pleading with management for 2.5 years about how we were understaffed. Like I said previously, they pretend to hear you, but don't actually listen. They say they care, but they are just chasing numbers. The employees here are just tallies on a spreadsheet to upper management, nothing more. At least that's how it seemed.
