Pros

Clean and safe facility. Takes safety seriously.

Cons

What has been said about cliques from other reviewers is absolutely true. When I worked there, you weren't part of the "In crowd" unless you went to the corner bar and Friday nights and socialized. In addition, the organization is so management heavy that relatively few people actually produce product. For each line of 15 or so actual workers producing product, you're matrix managed by line leaders, end of line inspectors, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, program managers, shared maintenance engineers, and shared controls engineers. Then in addition, you have advanced manufacturing and advanced quality engineers, the product design engineers themselves (which you rarely ever see on the assembly line itself), quality managers, plant program managers , maintenance managers, safety managers, etc. etc. etc. Some people are stepping all over each other looking for something to do or someone to yell at to justify their existence. The organization obviously grew top heavy when it was making money hand over fist. Daily and shift meetings abound, and some make a living on simply gathering information on problems that exist so that they can report out at the meetings, and instead of finding solutions. I've worked in many other organizations where I've performed the functions of at least 7 of the functions that this company hires specific individuals to specialize in. I've worn several hats at once and did just fine concurrently performing product engineering, manufacturing engineering, program management, maintenance, service, quality and sales, all while managing a staff of 30+ engineers. This company however breaks up all of these functions, and people get testy if you happen to step on what they perceive to be their territory. I've never seen such waste in my life, and for the life of me I can't figure out how they've survived.
