Pros
There's always a technical challenge that I can contribute to solving.
Transparency is a pretty big thing here. You're never curious as to how business is doing as there are TV screens that display sales data in a dashboard format that are updated in near real-time.
Compensation is very much competitive in the Tampa market (I verified this for myself using Glassdoor's salary tool). Especially if you take into account the annual performance bonus.
Benefits are pretty good, and they actually get cheaper after a you've worked here a year (about a 20% reduction in health premiums for me). The 401K match and profit sharing plan actually contribute significantly to your 401K balance.
Almost every week lunch is provided, sometimes breakfast too, and every once in awhile one of our customers will send us treats.
A well stocked break room (soda fountain, coffee, tea, ramen, pop-tarts, etc.) is very much appreciated.
The game room is awesome, with its crown jewel being the Mario Kart arcade machine (sorry Lititz, but it is a lot of fun). There is also a Foosball table, dart board, and a Wii.
A fitness center is planned which will be a great addition (they are still building out the Tampa office).
The standing desks are awesome.
Super casual dress code is appreciated.
Cons
Having meetings that include employees in the Tampa and Lititz offices is sometimes difficult due to technological constraints.
I'm not a big fan of the open office floor plan.
The 401K vesting schedule is a bit aggressive.
No sick leave.
