Pros

Co workers were great to work with.

Cons

Management was horrible. If you aren’t in their click you don’t matter. The turnover rate is horrendous. I seen management get people to go against another worker to have a one on one, because they didn’t want to do it. They have company picnics and if you don’t bring something, or forgot they get mad. They waste at least a half hour going over a matrix designed to help you understand what type of person you are and how to act with someone who is opposite of your matrix. That’s a half hour of work not getting done and then at the end of the day they are pushing work down your throat because it has to get shipped. They treat the leads like they are unwanted left overs. Everything falls back on them even though they do what the manager tells them to. This was the worse place I have ever worked I was so happy to get out of there.

We do hold company picnics for employees and their guests to show our appreciation, however, it is completely provided by the company and employees are not required or even asked to bring anything but themselves and their guests. We do provide training to help provide understanding how different people communicate and how to communicate effectively with others, this is a companywide training. It is expected and built into the schedule of the onboarding; no employee is held accountable for the time that they are in company trainings. Team Leads are a valued part of the management structure of our distribution center, and the management team is held accountable to make sure their teams and team leads are provided the resources, guidance, and help to be able to meet their goals. The training and development team works hard to make sure the managers are equipped to effectively lead their teams with a healthy team culture. We allow management at each of our locations to work autonomously to make decisions for their teams and leadership. No one is ever forced to come to work sick and should not come to work if they are sick. Our attendance policy outlines any type of accountability toward points and guidelines. We want to endorse the health and wellness of our employees, so we follow that network-wide company policy to provide a healthy, safe and fair workplace for our employees.

Pros

Flexible schedules that aren't industry standard. 4x10 with Fridays off. Employees within your same team/departments are all friendly and share the same values and ideals Remote work Hasn't performed department wide lay offs -*See cons*

Cons

Pay to responsibility ratio is not great and the gap is widening No bonus Benefits are incredibly stale and haven't drastically changed in any meaningful way in my time here Company provided holidays aren't competitive Culture outside of your immediate team is very cliquey Upper management feels disconnected from day-to-day operations Career growth past mid range is non-existent, the entire department feels stale Department is small enough that directors and VPs will message you directly but big enough that accomplishments go unrecongized Corporate management sweeps things under the rug to avoid broader employee visibility Department heads aim to avoid layoffs but it's very clear that quality of life is being leveraged as a way to reduce headcount
