Pros

Benefits, 4 day work week,

Cons

Why the high turnover? Why are “leaders” constantly stepping down/resigning? Zero unaccountability, Hard work goes unnoticed, lazy workers are praised. Unsafe congested warehouse environment. Company policies created on the fly without official supporting documentation. People moved into leadership roles who aren’t ready and set up for failure from the start.Company culture is overhyped but not practiced The list goes on…

It is our goal to create a company culture that is healthy, vibrant, and well-defined. We hope to attract and retain great employees that are a mutual fit. Recent changes in operational demands has required updated polices and expectations for our teams across the network. These policies and expectations are designed to ensure that each Distribution Center maintains consistency with productivity and quality.  Our goal is to provide outstanding service to our customers while maintaining a prominent level of efficiency within our operations.  Our commitment is to provide our employees with good working conditions, and this at times may require temporary rerouting of racking and equipment for facility upgrades. Prior to any major facility upgrades in our Distribution Centers, risk assessments and OHSA compliance is a top priority. Our management teams are encouraged to actively engage with our front line team members in their work settings on a daily basis. We feel that this creates spontaneous interactions, and makes managers available to their team members in a more informal setting, allowing them to ask questions directly. This has created better relationships between our managers and employees, improving communication and enhancing trust. “Strategic delegation” is the key to optimizing the value of each employee’s output. We also feel that delegation assists with developing your team members, while fostering trust and collaboration. By delegating tasks, our leaders empower our team members to take ownership and responsibility for their work, while providing them with opportunities to learn new skills, apply their strengths, and overcome their weaknesses.

Pros

Flexible schedules that aren't industry standard. 4x10 with Fridays off. Employees within your same team/departments are all friendly and share the same values and ideals Remote work Hasn't performed department wide lay offs -*See cons*

Cons

Pay to responsibility ratio is not great and the gap is widening No bonus Benefits are incredibly stale and haven't drastically changed in any meaningful way in my time here Company provided holidays aren't competitive Culture outside of your immediate team is very cliquey Upper management feels disconnected from day-to-day operations Career growth past mid range is non-existent, the entire department feels stale Department is small enough that directors and VPs will message you directly but big enough that accomplishments go unrecongized Corporate management sweeps things under the rug to avoid broader employee visibility Department heads aim to avoid layoffs but it's very clear that quality of life is being leveraged as a way to reduce headcount
