Pros
The only real positives were the caliber of my peers. My colleagues were highly intelligent, and while we were all overworked and under significant stress, there was at least a shared understanding of what everyone was going through, which created a sense of mutual support.
Cons
The company operated on a foundation of smoke and mirrors, where transparency was lacking and promises often went unfulfilled—most notably a bonus that was guaranteed but never actually paid out. The culture felt deeply problematic, with elements of misogyny and bullying that created a difficult and, at times, toxic work environment. Employees were expected to work long hours, with leadership frequently reaching out at all hours of the day and night, blurring any sense of work-life balance. On top of that, there were serious concerns around compensation, including being cheated out of earned commission, which further eroded trust and morale.
