Pros

This company has an exceptional business structure when it comes to policy and procedure. The training department is amazing, and I suggest anyone looking to get their feet wet in the property management industry this is a great place to learn the business. The on-site management staff is eager to watch their employees grow, if you fit "the mold" you will have potential to grow quickly, however that is only if you fit their mold (does not mean that your qualified for that growth) for growth. This company does believe in cross training( only so that they do not have to pay you for the tasks that you are completing), so when you do decide to leave you have a working knowledge of all aspects of property management. (which is truly a disservice to themselves as a company, employees gain the knowledge and jump ship every day!!!)

Cons

This company is not truthful throughout the hiring process, and do not disclose the lack of bonuses until after the offer is made. They also make false promises when it comes to growth and development of true talent. There is also a constant change in staffing in which has become known as the "Weinstein Shuffle", you will move from one property to another frequently. This company only looks out for the best interest of their company and brand, and could careless about their employees. They attempt to manage your finances if you decide to live on site by deducting the your rent out of every check. The rental discount is not enough for the requirements they issue for an on site employee/resident.

Thank you for sharing your feedback of Weinstein Properties. It is great to hear that you liked our policy structure and that you had such a positive experience with our training department. Regarding bonuses, we firmly believe in recognizing and rewarding our employees for their achievements and bonuses are awarded to employees based on the team’s quarterly performance. Rather than offer commissions, which aren’t always guaranteed and can create an environment that doesn’t foster teamwork, our bonuses encourage property and team success thus offering a more stable structure. We’re sorry if you were expecting commissions or other bonuses in addition to that. We do appreciate your comments regarding staffing and assure you that it is not our intention to “shuffle” team members around. It is after much consideration and weighing of options that employees are transferred to a different property. It is our belief that any changes are in the best interest of the employee and the team. We are happy to offer our employees rental discounts when they choose to live at a Weinstein community and please know that we are not attempting to manage employees’ finances. You are correct - rent payments are automatically deducted from the employee’s paycheck however, this saves the employee from having to make a payment on their own time. We appreciate feedback and wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

-The culture is very welcoming -You can learn things at your own pace, there's no rush to be perfect -Weinstein is clearly dedicated to making every resident and employee happy and comfortable. -doctract is such a good resource for all new employees -everyone has been helpful and supportive throughout my training -Lots of opportunities for employees to grow

Cons

-I wish there was more 1 on 1 time with trainer -Saturdays are extremely difficult being a new employee, I would prefer if it was pushed back until 90 days or 60 for more experience first - It is a lot of information at once, a physical paper giving step by steps for difficult or multi-step things would be nice. However, I understand there's no need because of doctract, it is just hard to pull this up while having a resident or prospect in front of you.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience with this company in my role as a Regional Manager in Atlanta. There’s a strong support system here and a genuinely welcoming, family-like culture that you don’t always find in this industry. The training and development have been a standout for me—they’ve given me the tools and confidence to step into this role and succeed. I also appreciate the quality of the assets we manage. Being able to oversee well-maintained, attractive properties makes a big difference in both performance and pride in the work. I’m grateful for the trust leadership has placed in me. It’s clear that collaboration, innovation, and growth are priorities, and that shows in how teams work together and how leadership engages with the field. I feel set up to succeed and motivated to exceed operational goals.

Cons

None directly tied to company performance. The organization is highly structured—which drives consistency and operational excellence—but it can take time for new leaders to fully ramp up within that framework.

That kind of feedback is helpful as we continue to grow. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to have you on the team.
