Cons- At the smaller communities, there is usually only one person working on weekends. For the amount of traffic that comes into the community on weekends, there definitely needs to be another part-time leasing consultant to help out.
Another con would be the structure for issuing bonuses to the various properties. So many of our competitors offer higher bonuses and allow their employees to work partially off of commission. Adding these factors in, could decrease turn-over with the company.
Another con would be the amount of vacation time given and the lack of increase until working for the company for 5 whole years. Starting employees off with 3 weeks of vacation time instead of two would be a huge plus. Hard working employees should be rewarded before they reach year 5 of employment.
