I hate it - Sales Associate/Cashier Weis Markets Employee Review

(I won't give what store I was at, but I'm talking about the one I was at.) I started Weis almost 2 years ago, and I have regretted it ever since. The managers at Weis (store and department managers) never cared about their employees, the store managers were usually a-holes and were up your butt to get your work done when we were so short staffed it was almost impossible to get every single task done. The store managers don't understand that being an associate isn't an easy thing, and we can't just, boom have something done. They walk away, and hide in their offices all day, until one of their favorite employees comes in and then they come out to talk crap and whatever. There's favoritism played by the store managers, and they talk alot of smack about other employees to other employees. The store managers are children, and need to do their jobs instead of creating drama. The department managers were children also, they would walk away from doing their jobs for hours on end and expect the short staffed employees to get everything done, cleaning, waiting on customers, pizza, whatever. Nine dollars an hour is not worth it. Pay raises are also a joke.
