They were very flexible with my schedule and the managers were very down to earth at the time.
Cons
After working here several years the tiny raises did not account for the rising cost of living. New hires were brought on making the same as I was after 5 years of extra raises for going above and beyond (still just a few cents more than the normal raise). More and more rules kept getting added by corporate that made it harder and more laborious to do the same job. They swap managers between stores multiple times a year against their will which destroys any kind of consistency. The store I worked at had a manager transferred back shortly after I left who has been moved around multiple times for losing her temper on employees in front of customers. Corporate refuses to take care of the situation and just moves her store to store to have the problems repeat themselves. I know of two phenomenal associates who left directly as a result of her and refused to put up with her nasty attitude for such little pay.
