Pros
Low copays with company insurance. Job security only if you're in the "in" crowd. Three 12-hour shifts a week to be full-time.
Cons
Unit Manager will only evaluate nightshift's work by asking their own "trusted RNs". Unit Manager will find ridiculous reasons to extend your initial 90 day probationary period. Ex: mental heath issues. It's commonplace to be pushed or shoved in a patient's room by one of those said "trusted RN's"... even trying to take it to HR is a joke.
