Pros
Smart and dedicated workers High level of respect among employees Pay and benefits are just about industry average - not better
Cons
* Not enough vacation time * Mindless work. The department wanted to do everything in-house rather than using vendors. Wasted a lot of time dealing with IT issues. * Excessively conventional and stuffy (suits and ties). This type of culture isn't for everybody. I was truly miserable. * Bureaucracy - coworkers sitting next to you setting up a meeting in a breakout room just to talk about things that would take a couple minutes instead of just walking over. In some cases this is understandable, but Wellington brings this to a ridiculous level. * Not a lot of career opportunities. You're stuck with what you're hired to do. * Actually learned a lot less at Wellington than my previous firm (a smaller firm) where I could get my hands dirty on many things.
