Business Outlook
Pros
I started as a crew member and was promoted to shift leader in less than a year. In another year, I was promoted to assistant manager. It is good training for future jobs and a good way to advance your career.
Cons
If you are a crew member, you will be standing in the same spot most of the day, doing the same thing all day. If you are a manager, you may be working 50 plus hours a week. The shifts are long as you are on your feet with no lunch breaks (except the times you shove a sandwich down your throat as you are working). There are no sicks days either. The schedule fluctuates and changes every week and the job really takes over your life.
