Pros

-Fast dispatch -New Automatic Trucks with inverters and fridges -Fairly consistent loads -Never too far away from a company Terminal -Many accounts available to chose from -Good benefits

Cons

-Industry standard pay -You only earn 1 day off every 6 days worked, no guerenteed weekends -They don't have to get you back before the day/s requested off, they can and often do get you back on the first day of your hometime by 12 pm -Dispatch can be hit or miss. Half the time you get dispatch who only care about their own pay, the other half, you get someone who actually cares about the drivers. -Their trainers (Leaders), are other regular werner drivers who signed up for the account. They will let anyone with at least 6months or more of experience be a leader. I got lucky and had an amazing leader, but I have talked to other drivers who had horrible ones.

Pros

Great Experience, ( Exp. May Vary) This is a great job for those who are first setting foot into trucking. The orientation process is, well a process to say the least. I went in looking to do team driving and I got lucky with my partner. If you dont really have anyone waiting for you at home then this job is good. They give you plenty of opportunities to switch accounts and some have ups and downs. Some benefits are okay, and some company sponsored discounts are great. Depending on the dispatcher they can be great or on your butt, Werner does reimburse for schooling which is great but its monthly. Also you do have to train with their trainers and some are either great like mine but ive heard contrary.

Cons

Pay is absolute not adequate. You get locked to 3k a week so your pay is about $900-$1100 depending on the mileage, very rarely did I get anything above and the times I did it was reimbursment for schooling. Saftey is on our butt as they have front facing cameras. These cameras are at a detriment more than for your saftey. Some trainers are garbage, my partner had a trainer who did the bare minimum and she paid the price for it, I have to teach her how to back every now and again.
