Pros

Good place to start at to learn how if you get a good trainer. If your a lucky one you'll be happy in training. If you get a dedicated lane you'll get lots of miles. If your willing to become a trainer wich they ask some people only six mounths out of trucking school "no joke" you'll get lots of miles and prioity over other solo's

Cons

top don't know what the middle are doing to the heart of the company aka the drivers, bogus feul lautry bonus, night and weekend dispatch are clueless how to manage drivers, some of the terminals are slopy "and thats being nice", terminal shops have poorly skilled mechanics, its better to get your truck fixed at a out of network shop when you can get autherized to get it fixed, home time can be a battle for alot of drivers, recruters lie to your face about everything ex-all trucks have less then 350k miles lie -all trucks have apu's lie -70% of all our drivers get home weekly or nightly lie -you get to choose your truck lie -and if your told the sliding pay scale is great lie!!!!

Pros

Great Experience, ( Exp. May Vary) This is a great job for those who are first setting foot into trucking. The orientation process is, well a process to say the least. I went in looking to do team driving and I got lucky with my partner. If you dont really have anyone waiting for you at home then this job is good. They give you plenty of opportunities to switch accounts and some have ups and downs. Some benefits are okay, and some company sponsored discounts are great. Depending on the dispatcher they can be great or on your butt, Werner does reimburse for schooling which is great but its monthly. Also you do have to train with their trainers and some are either great like mine but ive heard contrary.

Cons

Pay is absolute not adequate. You get locked to 3k a week so your pay is about $900-$1100 depending on the mileage, very rarely did I get anything above and the times I did it was reimbursment for schooling. Saftey is on our butt as they have front facing cameras. These cameras are at a detriment more than for your saftey. Some trainers are garbage, my partner had a trainer who did the bare minimum and she paid the price for it, I have to teach her how to back every now and again.
