Pros

A couple of the dispachers are not to bad.

Cons

They dont even try to get you home when you ask. You may have to file withg the labor board to recieve your reimbursements like I am doing. They take advantage of the regional drivers by sending them out of thier region but not paying the higher 48 state wages. Getting in and out of the terminals is a pain, every one of them is set up and run differently. The night and weekend crews for dispatch and so called "trip planners" must be people they round up at homeless and drug rehab shelters and have no buisiness even working there, there is one or two exceptions on that. For a company of its size it is the most mickey mouse unorganized place I have ever worked at. And to top it off they have the lowest starting pay of almost any other trucking company.

Pros

Great Experience, ( Exp. May Vary) This is a great job for those who are first setting foot into trucking. The orientation process is, well a process to say the least. I went in looking to do team driving and I got lucky with my partner. If you dont really have anyone waiting for you at home then this job is good. They give you plenty of opportunities to switch accounts and some have ups and downs. Some benefits are okay, and some company sponsored discounts are great. Depending on the dispatcher they can be great or on your butt, Werner does reimburse for schooling which is great but its monthly. Also you do have to train with their trainers and some are either great like mine but ive heard contrary.

Cons

Pay is absolute not adequate. You get locked to 3k a week so your pay is about $900-$1100 depending on the mileage, very rarely did I get anything above and the times I did it was reimbursment for schooling. Saftey is on our butt as they have front facing cameras. These cameras are at a detriment more than for your saftey. Some trainers are garbage, my partner had a trainer who did the bare minimum and she paid the price for it, I have to teach her how to back every now and again.
