Anyone that is at C level is REWARDED greatly by keeping costs down. They get stock benefit out the wazoo for keeping their departments cost low, they do that by not allowing for raises of their employees, bullying people out of positions, and making everyone work more and more while not changing pay for the increase workload and time.
This is one of the most corrupt, backwards companies that I have ever had the disprivledge of working for as a member of IT.
The whole design is to make the rich get richer and encourage toxic working environments, while having total control of HR so your only way of dealing with the problem is by leaving it completely.
I have a meeting recorded with the CIO saying to just shut up and color. No one wants to hear you "complain" about how things are mismanaged, mislead, nor how the people are mistreated.
