Pros
It can be a very fun environment where you meet many interesting people. There can be moments of great excitement, but also some tranquil times to balance it all out.
Cons
The pay structure is a relic from the 50s; by having such a low hourly wage with anything livable being incumbent upon high-pressure sales goals - which are often quite beyond any reasonable expectation - you are virtually guaranteed poverty wages. The leadership comes from a failed storage company called Shurgard, and need to realize that they are a part of what is still, essentially, a start-up; their business model cannot - and should not - be so anachronistic.
