Pros

The only pro is the ability to work remotely, however your online presence is extremely micromanaged.

Cons

The training for this position is awful, almost as if they are setting you up to fail. They constantly expect you to have knowledge of things you've never learned or discussed. Management favors older team members and isn't very inclusive to knew hires. Programs change constantly. Minimum daily expectations are 50 dials with 1.50 hours of talk time, however, the leads you get are mostly disconnected phone lines, full mailboxes, non working numbers, or people that claim they never expressed interest in the program and want to be taken off the call list, so its incredibly sad and hard to get anyone on the line. It is more of sales position than that of an actual legit college admissions position. Very unrewarding. Pay is low, you use your personal phone to dial out. They provide a very small stipend for phone use and internet and it def does not cover the cost of the amount of usage you are putting in. You have to change your desktop status to break, lunch, away from desk etc, and its all being monitored and accounted for. If your teams app shows away and your desktop status doesn't they'll def message you and ask what you're working on. It's like clocking in to be a robot caller for 8 hours all while being monitored. It's so depressing.
