      Respect for staff is embedded in the culture. Dearth of big egos and high-conflict individuals. A real employee stock ownership plan that allows long-time staff to benefit from company success. Well respected for research and data collection expertise.

      Cons

      Not many people know about Westat, how to spell/pronounce the name, or what the company does. Web site very dated and lacks details about staff, projects, news about the company.

      Some of the leadership are fantastic! Pay is fair

      Cons

      Some staff do not respect lower staff; especially when they are Black lower level staff. Reactive instead of proactive when it comes to training up staff as opposed to hiring consultants Benefits and pay suffered after the administration took over Work-life balance frequently is an issue. Intrusive work expectations.
