      good benefits, flexible working hours, some interesting work

      Cons

      One's experience at Westat depends so much on who is directing the projects that you are working on. As someone fresh out of college, the project director of the main project I was staffed on did not take the time to train me or nurture me as an employee. In addition, there are a lot of strange "research types" at Westat. For the most part, employees are older and have worked at Westat for the majority of their career.

      Some of the leadership are fantastic! Pay is fair

      Cons

      Some staff do not respect lower staff; especially when they are Black lower level staff. Reactive instead of proactive when it comes to training up staff as opposed to hiring consultants Benefits and pay suffered after the administration took over Work-life balance frequently is an issue. Intrusive work expectations.
