Pros
Decent benefits, casual attire, free parking, new on-site gym, new on-site cafeteria (but must walk outside to get there from some buildings, nice stock plan, some friendly staff.
Cons
Management staff lack any management training (they become managers by working there a certain length of time rather than by demonstrating an ability to manage), many managers are highly-stressed and verbally abusive, dishonesty is rampant from mid-level managers on up to vice presidents, communication from management that is necessary for subordinates to perform assigned tasks is poor at best (sometimes totally lacking), subordinates are treated very poorly and sometimes unethically, there is unhealthy competition between study areas and between groups within study areas (as opposed to collaboration), pervasive atmosphere of "watch your back."
