Pros
The work is engaging and interesting, the work/life balance is good, the corporate culture and people who work there are all smart and pleasant to work with. The benefits are great and they're flexible with work hours and working remotely. I learned a lot of different skills in the research field while working on different projects. Great first job out of college overall.
Cons
Little to no opportunities for growth and advancement, especially if you're at one of the entry or middle level positions. Some projects are better than others: on one project you could be treated well and on another horribly overworked without any hope of better pay or promotion. Some projects are grossly mismanaged and others managed very well. Salaries are very low for some positions with very limited to no options to get adequate compensation.
