Pros

Wages and expectations are fair. Management is trustworthy and easy to work with. Field staff hours are flexible.

Cons

Haven't worked on many projects yet, but they only seem to recruit to specific projects during recruiting waves. Recruiting is the hardest part of the job. It's by random selection: the computer picks specific targets, for example a specific household address. The interviewer goes to the address. Then they have to get the resident(s) to answer the door, then convince them to answer demographic questions to see if they fit the survey parameters. Takes stamina, courage and nerve. Not for everyone.
