Pros

Very easy computer work. You run your own fleet, it is very easy to stay ahead and most days I just sit around waiting for bad loaded or empty calls. I come in earlier then my scheduled start time to make sure I am caught up all day. When the miles are there, you will get a bonus.

Cons

Bad pay. The job is salary plus bonus based. For my family size, I am under paid. Liveable wage in CT is $75,000 starting pay for my size family. I am at $52,000 now. The bonus is not promised every week, it is based on the total miles all your trucks run. I have had 10-15 trucks down for over 6 months, not making a bonus and my check is $692 after taxes. I am supposed to be a manager but nearly all my drivers are making $400-$800 more then me. And I can't even pay my bills. Also you are paid for 40 hours a work week, and are working 10 hour days, working 50 hours a week, and more if you log on from home. You will not see your family at all during the week, and this is supposed to be a family based company.

Pros

Greetings.., My tenured at Western Express began Jan 2024. Throughout my stationary period with the company, I’ve had the honor and privilege to work with agent Ken Brooks. Ken and myself have not always witnessed or observed the same portrait at times. However, like every relationship, there will be disagreements. Nonetheless, Ken has served as the head-coach and myself the point-guard. Similar to many coaches and athlete duo. Ken is knowledgeable, reliable and sharp thinking, as his intuitive nature pours success. He not only wants you to thrive and be successful, he is position-less in one’s ability to be successful. This is accomplished by providing routes, formative feedback and suggestions to maximize your time and money. Despite his motion for team and honors. He is easy to communicate and has often replied to questions while on his break. Not everyone has that property trait, particular quality, skill, or attribute. Through my lens, Ken has put his best foot forward and continues aid, guidance and do what is best for the individual (myself).

Cons

If I needed to add a con, it would be better transparency. Nonetheless, Ken has shown, he is willing and able to build on this con. He has strengthen his communicational traits.
