It sounds like you’re one of our newer managers, so I’m encouraged to hear you’ve developed a high opinion of our leadership and the rest of the team. As a more recent hire, I’m guessing you’re still recovering from our extensive training program. I’ve heard it’s much like standing in front of a fire hose of data, so I’m sure it can be very challenging at times. You should know, however, that we won’t let someone go unless they are clearly disinterested in learning and growing. Employees develop at different rates, but we have always worked with everyone to identify realistic performance targets. We might need to do a better job of communicating this, but I assure you we won’t let good employees go. Also, I know the goal program hasn’t been administered consistently across all departments. Due to our rapid growth, many of our newer managers haven’t been fully trained on the program, so one of our focuses for next period will be evaluating the goal program and retooling it as needed. I appreciate your feedback and I’m glad you’ve stuck it out with us so far. Don’t give up! It gets better.
