Pros

One of the few SF Bay Area companies that really has a global mindset instead of a San Francisco one. The employee mindset reflects that. Committed to helping people get funds in places where no one else can reach.

Cons

While the SF team has a more modern mindset, the rest of the company tends to be more dusty and it bogs down innovation and speed. Very matrixed organization where it takes a lot of people to move a little, thus things get political. Tech platform getting better but hard to move fast.

Pros

A company with an inspiring mission that is beginning to transform, an executive team that has gotten much better with recent departures, the opportunity to make a difference every day

Cons

In Denver, there are a lot of negative employees

Pros

- There are so many kind, hard working people here that make it genuinely nice to come into the office - The office itself is really modern, great Mountain views, and fun monthly office hours where leaders from around the business discuss their work - Some senior leadership here are visionaries who reflect strong hiring decisions from the ET and they give me hope that perhaps the company isn’t sinking deep in quick sand

Cons

- Peformance reviews mean nothing. There is a limit to how many people per team can be given “meets expectations,” regardless of if you meet your goals. I have coworkers—young, new to the company, and excited to learn more, support other teams beyond there’s—who have only ever “partially met expectations”. As such, they have disengaged because what’s the point of working to meet expectations if in the end you won’t, even if you tried? - Glassdoor reviews are 90% correct. Yes, you have your portion of dissatisfied employees who do/did nothing for 20 years and are pissed that someone is now keeping track of progress on work they said they’d do, but for the most part people are sharing unfortunately true and candid experiences. I know people who have worked here for 1yr, first job out of college, who feel so frustrated by the lack of actioning against our ever precarious place in the market - Beyond Strategy…a list of large targets that breakdown into more targets that break down into more targets… it’s a classic case of can’t have your cake and eat it too. You’re telling me you want 20,000 worth of tech hours of work to be completed, but then also are enacting mass layoffs and hiring freezes? People all over the corporate ladder have BEGGED the CEO to narrow the scope to 3-5 big wins. Instead, nothing gets taken off the table and everything gets half baked and delayed because tech teams can’t focus their efforts on a few big items (nevermind the fact that these poor teams work ungodly hours…)…crazy thing is, if they focused on a smaller scope, they’d probably get work done faster and then get to move on to the items that didn’t make that top list!!! Wowwwwww!!! Capacity management!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Some big wigs up top voted for Trump then got upset when their US retail sucks…FAFO! Almost as if the main demographic of retail customers in the US are the exact people terrorized by ICE! Mind boggling… - They know how bad the company looks to people and they know about these Glassdoor reviews!! They have a team working on improving these!!! So if you see some really short, really positive, non specific reviews reviews…yeah… - Unlimited PTO…please. 20 days before you get flagged for a conversation with your manager
