Pros
- The Campus is beautiful, and the students are some of the most inspiring, creative, and adaptive young minds I've ever met - The President and Board share strategic plan and initiative which seem ambitious and could someday set a foundation for a world-class institution - Once you're in, you're in... almost to a fault
Cons
- Underwhelming faculty (mediocre research if any) - Severe lack of leadership throughout administrative levels - Resistance to technological adaptations and/or failure to standardize - Lack of evidence-based decision making - Institutional "Inbreeding" (Many people who work here, went here, in disciplines unrelated to their professional needs) - Poor H R Department Advocacy for Employee Health and Satisfaction - Severe lack of transparency - "Siloing" which leads to loss of productivity in student services - "We've always done it this way" attitude, despite evidence of inefficacy - Poor organization and management structures - Low Pay relative to cost-of-living - Job Duties often required outside of scope of employment contract - Myopic Vision from administrative leadership - High Staff Turnover
