Outside of faculty, the university takes its workers for granted and mostly refuses to bargain for better working conditions. Pay is abysmally low in an area with high (and rising) cost of living. Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion concepts are talked about a lot, but very little action or change is accomplished.
