Pros

Stable company, financially sound, genuinely good people

Cons

Employee engagement and morale is terrible across the board. Very strict in the office, suit and tie, 5 days per week, 9+ hours per day. Zero work-from-home, even rarely/occasionally, for salaried professionals. Very little differentiation in compensation and advancement opportunities between high performers and mediocre performers, tenure and hours in the office is 90%. Beginning in 2025, the HR department now actively monitors and reviews every badge swipe of every home office employee. They look at, and question, when you come in, when you leave, how long you took for lunch, if you went to get coffee, etc. These reviews directly—and (only) negatively—impact bonuses and promotions. This has led to a very unprofessional and untrusting environment.

Pros

Located downtown, so very walkable. Optional pet insurance benefit is nice. They don't do layoffs, so very stable company to work for. An OK place to work at as a first job out of college. Provided daily lunch is sometimes really good.

Cons

The building has a roach infestation and they are spotted several times a month. Management tends to play favorites. One manager has been reported to HR multiple times by multiple people across many years for being too aggressive to the point several employees have had mental breakdowns, yet still retains their position. Dress code is business professional despite most never interacting with customers. No work from home at all. Company claims to be secular but very clearly has a Christian lean around Christmas time. Yearly raises do not keep up with inflation. Employees are told they are not to discuss their wages with each other, likely due to pay discrepancies between employees in the same roles.
