Pros

Training can be found online if you have a new or poor manager

Cons

Managers are promoted too quickly to be of use to new agents and seasoned agents who want to expand their business. Bringing out products like the Ultralife and then denying those clients who signed contracts that the company which made the glitch, the client will pay for it.. Instead they should have honored Ultralife contracts that were written and make changes to future contracts. That was shady and iresponsible - lossed ALOT of respect for company not taking responsiblity. Mandatory schedules and NO FLEXIBILITY Micromanagement Constant tracking of applications because home office and districts have delays and mistakes. Forgetting that its long time clients that are the foundation and relationships separated this company from others.

Pros

Local office was fantastic. The head of the local agency was a fantastic leader, one of the best I have had. The training program was very hands on. In terms of starting a financial practice with a firm, they have some of the best compensation, with a very strong base.

Cons

HR department is more like police on a different team than on your team. Always seemingly trying to make life harder for reps. Unlike anything I have ever dealt with.
